With the memberships module you sell subscriptions and season passes that renew automatically: members pay per month, season or year by direct debit mandate, and the wallet pass on their phone doubles as the membership card with QR access. At events, active members automatically get the member price — no discount codes to email around, the checkout recognises the membership. Renewals, reminders and failed collections are handled for you, and one overview shows what comes in each month, who is a member, who cancelled and when the next collection falls due. Membership fees land directly in the club's or organisation's own account via Mollie. Built for sports clubs, associations, museums, theatres, zoos and anyone with recurring visitors or members.

## Memberships and season passes that renew themselves

    Video in Dutch.

Joining should be easy. Staying a member too. A digital membership card in the wallet, and fees that collect themselves.

   How it works

## From sign-up to member card

1. 1 Publish membership tiers with a price and period (monthly, yearly, seasonal or one-off)
2. 2 The member signs up and pays with iDEAL | Wero
3. 3 The digital membership card with QR and member number lands in their inbox
4. 4 At the door the card scans repeatedly for as long as the membership is valid — and members automatically get the member rate in your ticket sales

   Who it is for

## Less work for the board, more ease for the member

 For the treasurer

### Membership fees come in by themselves

- Recurring direct debit per month, season or year
- Renewals, reminders and failed collections are handled for you
- One overview: what comes in per month, what has been collected this year and which collections are due
- Fees land directly in the club account, with a low flat fee per billing period and never a percentage

 For the member

### Joining and staying a member without hassle

- Sign up on the membership page or through the widget on your club website, pay with iDEAL | Wero
- The membership card is a wallet pass with QR and member number
- Member pricing at your events automatically, no discount code needed
- Cancel through the link in the mail: no account needed, with the remaining period refunded

- Export the member list as an encrypted CSV, plus an overview of where your members come from
- You see who is a member, who cancelled and when the next collection is due

   Frequently asked questions

## Frequently asked questions

## How do members pay their fees?

Recurring per month, season or year by direct debit mandate. Renewals, reminders and failed collections are handled for you, and fees land directly in the club's own account via Mollie.

## What if a collection fails?

Nothing grinds to a halt: the member automatically receives a payment request by mail, and that payment puts the mandate right again for the next period. Failed collections are fee-free, and your overview shows exactly who still has something outstanding.

## How does a member cancel?

Through the link in their own mail — no account and no phone call to the board. After the first renewal a membership can be cancelled monthly with at most one month's notice, as Dutch renewal law requires; you may shorten that term, never lengthen it. Whatever was already paid for the remaining period is calculated pro rata.

## Can I see what is coming in?

Yes. The membership fee overview shows what is running per month and per year, what has actually been collected this year, which collections are due, who cancelled and where a payment is overdue.

## What is the membership card?

The wallet pass on the member's phone doubles as the membership card with QR access at events and venues. At the door the card scans repeatedly for as long as the membership is valid.

## Do members get a discount at my events?

Yes. Active members automatically get the member price in the ticket checkout — no discount codes to email around, the checkout recognises the membership.

## What does the memberships module cost?

A year licence of €175 plus €0.25 per collected billing period. Free and trial memberships and failed collections stay fee-free.

## Can I ask for my members' addresses?

Yes, per membership tier. The question is off by default — an organisation that sends no post should not be collecting addresses. If you switch it on, you write down what you use the address for, and the member reads that text verbatim at the moment they fill it in. Members look up their address with the same address search as an event venue, so you get clean, normalised data instead of typos.

## Can I restrict a membership to my own village or municipality?

Yes. Per membership tier you list which towns or municipalities take part, and that condition appears on the page before signing up. Someone who lives elsewhere gets a clear message naming the towns and an invitation to get in touch. You can check against the town (the village itself) or against the municipality — the latter survives a local government reorganisation.

## What if someone does live there but is refused anyway?

Then you add their email address to the exception list in the admin panel yourself, with a short reason. After that they simply sign up through the membership page. An automatic rejection must never be the last word, so that route is always there — and your decision is recorded with its reasoning in the activity log. A manually entered or foreign address is never refused automatically in the first place: a typo would otherwise decide the outcome.

## Do I have to keep the address to check the town?

No. If you only want to know whether someone lives in your working area, leave the address question off and just fill in the list of towns. The member enters their address, we check the town and discard street, house number and postcode. Only the town stays — you need that to explain the restriction and to see where your members come from.
