MijnEvent started with Jasper's own obstacle run and grew, at the request of his client base, into a fair and accessible ticketing platform for the whole of the Netherlands.
Why MijnEvent?
MijnEvent didn't begin behind a desk, but at an obstacle run. Jasper Koers organized it himself for years. To handle ticketing free of charge, he simply built it himself — including QR tickets and his own scanner at the start.
What began as his own solution started to spread. From his client base, the same question kept coming up: can you do this for us too? For events, festivals, performances and markets.
That is how MijnEvent came about. Not driven by profit, but because building it was rewarding — and because the reactions, from organizers and visitors alike, were consistently glowing about how pleasant the platform is to use.

Full-stack developer with a passion for Laravel, Vue.js and accessible software. Jasper builds MijnEvent from Coding Agency in Meppel (Drenthe, the Netherlands) — over 16 years of custom web applications, with an unwavering belief in fair technology that works for everyone.
