About MijnEvent

What is MijnEvent?

MijnEvent is a Dutch ticketing platform that lets event organizers sell tickets independently through their own subdomain. Every organizer gets a personal address such as organization.mijnevent.nl and connects their own Mollie payment account: payments land directly in their own bank account, without the platform in between. The only cost is a flat fee of €0.25 or €0.50 per sold ticket, depending on the plan — no percentage, no setup costs, and free tickets are always free of charge.

The platform is fully available in Dutch and meets WCAG AA accessibility requirements, so both the ticket shop and the management dashboard work for visitors with disabilities. Built in as standard: ticket resale within legal limits, QR code check-in through a separate inspector app, discount codes, branded gift cards, waiting lists for sold-out ticket types and live sales statistics.

Selling & payments

Selling tickets with MijnEvent runs through your own subdomain, for example yourorganisation.mijnevent.nl. Visitors pay with iDEAL | Wero, credit card or Bancontact, and the money lands directly in your own Mollie account — no platform holding account in between. You pay a flat fee per sold ticket, never a percentage of the ticket price.

iDEAL | Wero, credit card, Bancontact and more. Direct payout to your own Mollie account.

Discount codes

Create discount codes with a fixed amount or a percentage, with a validity period and a maximum number of uses. Perfect for pre-sales, partners or loyal visitors.

Early bird without a separate ticket type

Put several named price periods on one ticket type — super early bird, early bird, regular price. The price switches automatically by date and your capacity stays one pool, so you never move leftovers afterwards.

Capacity & waitlist

Set a maximum per ticket type or share one capacity across several types — sold out means sold out, never overbooked. When a spot frees up, the waitlist is notified automatically.

Gift cards

Visitors gift an event, with a personal message attached. The balance is redeemed at checkout — partially too, so nothing goes to waste.

Ticket resale

Visitors can safely resell tickets. Maximum price protection, no scalping.

PDF ticket with sponsors

Every ticket is a polished PDF with a QR code. Add your own branding and your sponsors' logos — extra value for your partners, in every visitor's inbox.

Self-service for visitors

Visitors log in to "My tickets" themselves, re-download their tickets whenever they want and generate a legally compliant VAT invoice in their company's name with one click. It saves you, the organiser, a pile of support emails and hassle.

At the door

At the door you scan tickets with the MijnEvent inspector app for iOS and Android. Every QR code is instantly valid or rejected, even without a connection: the app works offline and syncs as soon as it is back online. You invite inspectors with a personal PIN and assign them per event.

QR check-in

Scan QR codes at the entrance with the inspector app. Real-time results, no hassle.

Batch QR & individual QR

One QR code for a whole order or a separate QR per ticket — your choice. Scan the batch code to let a whole group in at once, or scan per person for tight door control.

Guest lists

Add guests, press or VIPs to a guest list without payment. They receive a full ticket with a QR code and check in just as fast as everyone else — no more separate paper list at the door.

Live statistics

Dashboard with real-time sales figures, check-in statistics and revenue overviews.

Inspectors & scanning

Invite inspectors with a personal PIN and link them to an event. They scan tickets at the door in a flash — every scan instantly valid or rejected.

iOS & Android app

A dedicated scanning app for inspectors, including offline mode. Keep scanning when the connection drops — everything syncs the moment you are back online.
