  In short

## What does a website through MijnEvent involve?

You have a custom website built with its own content management system, on your own domain and in your own branding, with the MijnEvent modules running straight inside it: visitors buy a ticket, book a boat, sign up for a course or become a member without leaving your site. Design and build are done by Coding Agency, the agency behind MijnEvent; the connection to your ticketing, the wallet passes and the on-site check-in come from MijnEvent itself. A basic website costs from €450 one-off plus €49 per month for hosting, maintenance and support; if you would rather not invest up front, you pay €119 per month over a 36-month term. The monthly amount is invoiced per calendar year. Every site ships findable — in Google and in the answers of ChatGPT and Perplexity.

   Why here

## A web agency cannot build your check-in

That is the whole difference. The site is the front of a platform that already exists.

 Everything in one place

One visitor database, one administration, one financial overview. No exports back and forth between your website and your ticketing system, and no two suppliers pointing at each other when something is off.

  Online and on site

The website sells, the app scans. From payment screen to gate it is one chain: tickets, wallet passes, check-in, and for larger events cashless and crowd control too.

  Found by AI as well

Structured data, an llms.txt and quotable text blocks are standard. The same approach we applied to our own platform — not a promise, but a method that has proven itself.

   Who it is for

## What goes into your site

Every type of organisation needs something different. These are the combinations we are asked for most.

   How it works

## From conversation to live

Four steps, with a fixed price before anything gets built.

1. 1We discuss what you need

Which pages, which modules, which audience, and whether an existing site comes along. That produces a fixed price, not an hourly bill.
2. 2You get a design proposal

In your own branding, with the layout of the main pages. You give feedback, we work it in, and only then does the build start.
3. 3Coding Agency builds, we connect

They make the site and the content management; we make sure your ticketing, rentals or memberships run inside it.
4. 4Live, with a walkthrough and aftercare

Your site goes live, you get a session on the content management, and we keep it running. Existing web addresses are redirected properly.

   Existing site

## Already have a website that has aged?

Then renewing is usually the better choice than starting over: you keep the positions you built up in Google. We start with a short analysis of your current site (€500 to €750, credited if you go ahead) and redirect all your old web addresses to the new ones on delivery. Without those redirects you lose your findability, and that is typically the most expensive thing that can happen with a new website.

   Pricing

## One fixed monthly amount — you pick the shape

The same website, two ways to pay for it.

 With an upfront investment

€49 per month Build from €450You pay for the build in three instalments: at the start, on delivery and after go-live. After that a low monthly amount for hosting, maintenance and support.

  Without an upfront investment

€119 per month No build amountNo build amount. The monthly amount covers both the build and the maintenance, over a minimum term of 36 months.

Amounts incl. VAT and based on a basic website. Larger projects — a theatre with seating plans, a festival with camping and food trucks — have their own rate; you always get a fixed price up front. The monthly amount is invoiced per calendar year: start later in the year and you only pay the remaining months.

The fee per ticket sold is unchanged. A website is a service on top of the platform, not a way to buy it off.

   Who builds it

## Coding Agency does the design and the build

MijnEvent was made by Coding Agency, and that same team builds your website. That gives you one point of contact and one invoice: no agency pointing at the ticket platform and no ticket platform pointing at the agency. We supply the platform, the connection, the hosting and the on-site check-in; they do the design, the build and the content management.

   Frequently asked questions

## What people want to know first

## What does a website through MijnEvent cost?

A basic website starts at €450 one-off plus €49 per month for hosting, maintenance and support. If you would rather not invest up front, the build amount disappears and you pay €119 per month over a minimum term of 36 months. Larger projects have their own rate: a theatre with seating plans or a festival with camping and food trucks takes more work than a club with a members portal. You always get a fixed price before anything is built.

## When am I invoiced?

The monthly amount is invoiced per calendar year in advance, by direct debit. Start in September and you only pay September through December; on 1 January the first full annual invoice follows. Start in November or December and your first term runs through to 31 December of the following year — otherwise you would pay a full month for a fortnight. The one-off build amount is paid in three instalments: at the start, on delivery and after go-live.

## How long before my site is live?

Four to six weeks is usual for a basic website, counted from the moment your texts and images are ready. An extensive project with seating plans or a members portal takes longer. The biggest delaying factor is almost never the build but the delivery of content — which is why we ask up front which texts and photos you already have.

## Can I edit texts and photos myself?

Yes. Every site ships with a content management system where you edit pages, news items, photos and opening hours yourself. You get a walkthrough session on delivery. If you would rather we did it, that is available through a maintenance package that includes a number of content hours per month.

## Can my dated website be renewed without losing my findability?

Yes, and usually that is the better choice. During a renewal we redirect all your old web addresses to the new ones, so the positions you built up in Google are preserved. That is called a 301 redirect and it is exactly where most website renewals go wrong. We start with a short analysis of your current site, credited if you go ahead.

## Will I be found in AI answers such as ChatGPT and Perplexity?

That is built in as standard. Every site gets structured data (JSON-LD), an llms.txt and quotable text blocks at the top of every important page — exactly the setup that lets an AI answer cite your page as a source. We apply the same approach to MijnEvent itself, so it is not theory but a method whose numbers we know.

## Who actually builds the website?

Coding Agency, the agency that also made MijnEvent. They do the design, the build, the content management and the hosting. MijnEvent supplies the platform underneath: your ticketing, rentals, memberships, wallet passes and on-site check-in. You have one point of contact and one invoice.

## Will visitors notice MijnEvent is behind it?

Not on your site: that is entirely yours, on your own domain and in your own branding, with no visible platform underneath. At checkout the visitor enters the secure payment environment, as with any web shop — and we can put that in your colours. Afterwards they return to your own site.

## Is the website accessible to people with a disability?

Every site is delivered at accessibility level WCAG 2.2 AA: sufficient colour contrast, visible focus, operable by keyboard alone, and forms with real labels and comprehensible error messages. For government and semi-public organisations that is a legal requirement; for everyone else it is simply the difference between visitors who can buy something and visitors who give up.

## Can the site be multilingual?

Yes. You choose which languages you need, and the management environment lets you fill in the translation per page. The visitor side of MijnEvent itself — the checkout, the confirmation emails, the tickets — is already available in eleven languages, so that needs no separate translation.

## What if I want to stop?

With the upfront build amount the site is yours. Stopping the monthly amount only ends the maintenance and hosting with us; you can have the site hosted elsewhere. With the no-investment route a minimum term of 36 months applies, because the build is covered within it — stop earlier and the unamortised part becomes due. We set that out in advance so you know where you stand.

## What happens to my data?

You remain the controller for the data that comes in through your website; MijnEvent and Coding Agency are processors. The data processing agreement you have with MijnEvent also covers hosting and maintaining your website. Data is processed within the European Economic Area unless we agree otherwise in advance.

## Do I have to be a MijnEvent customer already?

No, but that is where the service gets its value. The whole setup revolves around a site with your ticketing, rentals or memberships running straight inside it. If you are not a customer yet, we set that up in the same project.

## Can I have just a landing page or web shop made?

You can, but often it is not necessary: you can place the MijnEvent ticket widget or rental storefront on your existing website with one line of code, without anything having to be built. If you get stuck, we will look with you. Only when you want a completely new site does this become a project.

## What does the maintenance cost afterwards?

Hosting, security updates, monitoring and support on how your site works are included in the monthly amount. If you also want us to make content changes or review your findability more often, a more extensive package covers that. Functional extensions after delivery are additional work and are priced in advance.

# Curious what it would come to in your case?

One conversation is enough for a first indication. A fixed price follows, and the build only starts once you agree.
