Organizer Agreement
The terms for organizers using MijnEvent for their ticket sales.

Article 1 — Parties
Who are the parties to this agreement?
- This agreement is entered into between MijnEvent, a trade name of [COMPANY NAME], registered in [CITY], Chamber of Commerce number [CHAMBER OF COMMERCE NUMBER] (hereinafter: "MijnEvent"), and the Organizer who registers on the Platform (hereinafter: "Organizer").
- The agreement is established at the moment the Organizer completes their registration on the Platform and agrees to these terms.
- The Organizer declares to be authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf of the organization they represent.
Article 2 — Services
What does MijnEvent offer the Organizer?
- MijnEvent provides the Platform to the Organizer for presenting events and selling tickets online to Visitors.
- The Organizer receives their own subdomain on MijnEvent (e.g., organizationname.mijnevent.nl) where their events are presented.
- Via the Platform, the Organizer can: create and manage events, configure ticket types and prices, set service fees per ticket type, manage the check-in process, view sales statistics, and appoint inspectors for check-in.
- MijnEvent processes payments via Mollie Connect, where the purchase amount is deposited directly into the Organizer's Mollie account.
- MijnEvent provides technical support via email. The response time is a maximum of two business days.
Article 3 — Organizer obligations
What is expected of you as an organizer?
- The Organizer guarantees that the events offered on the Platform are actually organized and take place as announced.
- The Organizer is fully responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the event information on the Platform, including name, date, location, description, and ticket prices.
- The Organizer holds all necessary permits, exemptions, and insurance for organizing their events.
- The Organizer connects a valid Mollie account to the Platform via Mollie Connect. Without an active Mollie connection, it is not possible to publish events.
- The Organizer is responsible for customer service towards Visitors, including handling questions, complaints, and refunds.
- The Organizer acts at all times in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, including gambling laws (if applicable), the GDPR, and consumer law.
- The Organizer does not misuse the Platform, does not spread misleading information, and does not act in a manner that could damage MijnEvent's reputation.
- The Organizer is responsible for the correct VAT regime applicable to their ticket sales and for paying the taxes due.
Article 4 — MijnEvent obligations
What can you expect from MijnEvent?
- MijnEvent strives for a Platform availability of 99.5% on an annual basis, excluding scheduled maintenance.
- Scheduled maintenance is announced at least 48 hours in advance and preferably takes place outside peak hours.
- MijnEvent ensures the correct processing of transactions via the Platform and the Mollie Connect system.
- MijnEvent provides technical support via email to the Organizer.
- MijnEvent secures the Platform and the data processed on it in accordance with common industry standards and the GDPR.
- MijnEvent timely informs the Organizer about changes in services, rates, or terms.
Article 5 — Rates and payment
What costs are associated with using MijnEvent?
MijnEvent charges a Platform Fee that is settled via Mollie Connect (application fee). The fee amount depends on the chosen subscription:
Pay as you go
No fixed costs. Platform Fee of EUR 0.50 per ticket sold.
Recurring Organizer
Fixed costs of EUR 14.95 per active event per month. Platform Fee of EUR 0.25 per ticket sold.
Yearly
Fixed annual fee of EUR 750.00. No Platform Fee up to 10,000 tickets per subscription year. Above that EUR 0.05 per ticket.
- The default subscription is Pay as you go. Subscription changes are made in consultation with MijnEvent.
- Fixed costs (monthly or annual) are invoiced via MijnEvent's own Mollie account — not via Mollie Connect.
- All mentioned amounts are exclusive of VAT, unless otherwise stated.
- MijnEvent reserves the right to change rates. Changes are announced at least 30 days in advance.
- In case of late payment of invoices, MijnEvent may suspend the account after a reasonable reminder.
Article 6 — Organizer liability
What are you liable for as an organizer?
- The Organizer is liable for all damages suffered by Visitors as a result of the Organizer's failure to fulfill the agreement entered into between the Organizer and the Visitor.
- The Organizer fully indemnifies MijnEvent against all claims, demands, and costs (including reasonable legal costs) from third parties related to the Organizer's actions or omissions.
- In case of (suspected) fraud, deception, or other serious violations, MijnEvent may immediately suspend the Organizer's account and inform the police and/or competent authorities.
- If the Organizer's actions cause damage to MijnEvent, including but not limited to reputational damage, the Organizer is liable for this damage.
Article 7 — Suspension and termination
When can the account be suspended or terminated?
- MijnEvent may suspend the Organizer's account in case of (suspected) fraud, abuse, or violation of this agreement or the Terms of Service. MijnEvent will inform the Organizer as soon as possible.
- The Organizer may terminate their account at any time. Pending orders and sold tickets are handled according to the original terms.
- Upon termination, the Organizer's data is retained for 30 days. After this period, the data is permanently deleted, unless legal retention obligations require otherwise.
- Outstanding invoices or owed Platform Fees remain due even after termination.
- MijnEvent may terminate this agreement with a notice period of 30 days, unless there is an urgent reason (fraud, abuse) that justifies immediate termination.
Article 8 — Processing of personal data
How do we handle visitor personal data?
- The Organizer is the data controller for the personal data of Visitors collected via their subdomain on the Platform.
- MijnEvent acts as a data processor within the meaning of the GDPR. MijnEvent processes personal data exclusively for the purpose of providing services to the Organizer.
- The parties conclude a data processing agreement that forms an integral part of this agreement.
- The Organizer is responsible for informing Visitors about the processing of their personal data, in accordance with the GDPR.
- Upon termination of the agreement, personal data is deleted in accordance with the retention policy mentioned in Article 7, unless legal retention obligations require otherwise.
Article 9 — Confidentiality
How do we handle confidential information?
- Both parties treat confidential information received from the other party in the context of this agreement as strictly confidential.
- Confidential information includes, among others: financial data, customer data, technical information, and business strategies.
- The confidentiality obligation continues to apply after termination of the agreement.
Article 10 — Final provisions
Additional agreements.
- This agreement is exclusively governed by Dutch law.
- Disputes are preferably resolved through mutual consultation. If this proves impossible, disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the city where MijnEvent is registered.
- If any provision of this agreement proves to be null and void or voidable, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
- Amendments to this agreement are only valid if agreed in writing or announced by MijnEvent in accordance with Article 2 of the Terms of Service.
- This agreement, together with the Terms of Service and the data processing agreement, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties regarding the use of the Platform.
