Short answer

## Can one ticket be valid for multiple days?

Yes. In MijnEvent you add days to a multi-day event and decide per ticket type which days it is valid on. Link a ticket type to a single day and you are selling a day ticket; link no days at all and the ticket is valid on every day — a multi-day pass, weekend ticket or combi ticket. At the entrance, check-in counts per day: a pass may enter once on each event day, and anyone arriving on the wrong day shows the steward exactly which days the ticket is valid for. Day tickets and passes sell side by side from the same event, sharing one capacity pool through capacity groups if you want. Multi-day events are a standard part of MijnEvent, with no fixed costs: you pay € 0.50 per sold ticket and free tickets are always fee-free.

   The process

## How does a multi-day event work?

One event, a list of days and a choice per ticket type. That is all.

  1

### Add days

Create your event and add each event day on the Days tab: a date, plus an optional custom name such as "Friday · Opening night" or "Finals day".

   2

### Link ticket types

Tick the days each ticket type is valid on. Tick nothing and the ticket is valid on every day — that is your multi-day pass. Buyers see exactly which days their ticket covers while ordering.

   3

### Scan per day

At the door, check-in counts per day. A pass may enter once each day; a second scan on the same day is refused. If someone shows up on the wrong day, the scanner reports which days the ticket is valid for.

   What it is for

## Any programme that lasts longer than a day

From festival weekends to festive weeks: wherever visitors come for one day — or for all of them.

       ### Festivals & music weekends

Friday, Saturday and Sunday bookable separately, plus one weekend pass for those who want it all. Each type with its own price and capacity.

       ### Tournaments & sports events

Qualifiers on Saturday, finals on Sunday. Supporters pick their day or come all weekend — the scanner knows exactly who gets in when.

      ### Festive weeks & parades

A week full of programming with something different every night: sell single-night tickets and a week pass from the same event, without separate pages per night.

        ### Conferences & trade fairs

Visitors come for a single day, speakers and exhibitors for all of them. Give each group its own ticket type, linked to the right days.

   Smart details

## The details that make the difference

Built on how a multi-day event actually runs.

        ### Check-in counts per day

A multi-day pass is valid again on every event day; a second scan on the same day is blocked. Works offline too, with the free scanning app.

       ### On the ticket and in the wallet

Visitors get their ticket as a PDF and add it to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. The event page shows per ticket type which days it is valid on.

       ### One pool for day and weekend tickets

Put day tickets and the pass in the same capacity group and they fill the same maximum together — your site never gets overbooked.

      ### Time slots per day

Using time slots? Copy a proven day schedule to the other days of your event in a single action.

   Example

## A festival weekend

Three ticket types, one event — and the numbers add up.

Saturday day ticket Sunday day ticket Weekend pass

Saturday day ticket € 27.50

Sunday day ticket € 27.50

Weekend pass € 45.00

Site capacity per day 1,500

Scans per pass 1 per day

   Good to know

## How it stays manageable

One event, however many days you attach to it.

## No separate events per day

All days live in one event: one page, one sales overview and statistics with check-ins counted per day.

## Without days, nothing changes

If you do not add days, your event works as it always has: every ticket is valid for the entire event.

## Adjustable afterwards

Adding days or linking a ticket type to different days is possible even after sales have started — useful while the programme is still shifting.

   Frequently asked questions

## Frequently asked questions about multi-day events

## Can one ticket be valid for two or more days (a multi-day pass)?

Yes. A ticket type that is not linked to specific days is automatically valid on every day of your event. To sell a pass alongside single day tickets, simply create multiple ticket types within the same event.

## How does scanning a multi-day pass work?

Check-in counts per day: a pass may enter once on each event day and is automatically valid again the next day. A second scan on the same day is refused — even when scanning offline.

## Can day tickets and a pass share one capacity pool?

Yes, with capacity groups. Put the Saturday day ticket and the weekend pass in the same group and they count towards the same maximum together, so your site never gets overbooked.

## Do I need to create a separate event for each day?

No. You add days to a single event and link your ticket types to those days. Visitors see one event page with all ticket types, and you keep one sales and statistics overview.

## Can buyers see which day a ticket is valid for?

Yes. The event page shows for every ticket type which days it is valid on, and a pass is clearly marked as valid on all days. At the door, the scanner reports the valid days whenever someone arrives on the wrong day.

## What does a multi-day event cost?

Multi-day events, day tickets and passes are a standard part of MijnEvent. You pay € 0.50 per sold ticket (pay as you go), free tickets are fee-free and there are no fixed costs.
