Ticket sales with direct payout to your own account

You largely finance an event before it takes place. The venue wants a deposit, the artist an advance, security and catering a confirmation with budget behind it. Your pre-sale runs in exactly those weeks — but with many ticketing platforms that revenue is still sitting in the platform's account. Direct payout via Mollie turns that around: every ticket sold becomes available balance within days, and you pay your suppliers from your own ticket revenue instead of from bridge financing or the club treasury.

Technically it works through Mollie Connect. You connect your organisation's Mollie account to MijnEvent once; from then on every payment is created directly on yóúr account. MijnEvent is not an intermediary in the money flow and has no platform wallet: there is simply no moment at which your revenue sits with us. You control the payout to your bank account in your own Mollie settings — daily, weekly or monthly — and follow it in your own Mollie dashboard, next to the live sales overview in your MijnEvent dashboard.

It is a risk story too. In recent years several ticketing and voucher platforms collapsed while organisers still had balances in their accounts; those organisers ended up at the back of the queue as unsecured creditors. Direct payout matters to every organiser with costs before the event date: festivals and concerts with artist advances, associations and foundations that don't want to front the money, theatres with a long pre-sale window, and corporate events where the venue wants payment well in advance. It counts for small organisers too: whoever organises their first event rarely has reserves to wait weeks for a payout.
