Partner tickets

Your partners hand out tickets themselves, you keep the overview

At a fair every exhibitor gets tickets for their customers, at a festival the main sponsor has a stack of free tickets, and at a sports club every team gives tickets to its own sponsors. With partner tickets each partner sends those tickets themselves, from their own page and with their own logo and letter. You see who came and what there is to settle per partner.

How it works

From invitation to settlement

No lists by e-mail, no stacks of paper tickets and no counting afterwards.

Create a round on your event

Open the event in your dashboard and go to Partner tickets. Set the free quota per partner, the price per extra ticket, and whether you settle on sent or on scanned tickets. Link a ticket type with access "Partner ticket only": it is not for sale in your ticket shop, but it does count towards your capacity.

Add your partners

Per partner a name, a logo and one or more contact persons. A contact person receives an invitation by e-mail, chooses a PIN and then signs in with their e-mail address. No account is needed.

The partner sends tickets

On their own page the partner enters a name and e-mail address per guest, optionally with a personal line, or uploads a list. The guest receives the ticket by e-mail straight away, with the partner's logo and letter. A counter shows how many tickets are still free.

What you set

Four choices per round

Set once for the whole event. You can deviate per partner.

The free quota per partner

How many tickets a partner may send at no cost, for the whole event. A partner with a different contract gets their own quota.

The price per extra ticket

What a partner pays you for every ticket above the free quota. Leave it at zero and you simply keep the overview.

Settle on scanned or sent

Do you only count guests who actually came, or every ticket sent? A ticket scanned on several days counts once.

The letter with the ticket

You prepare a default letter. Partners may write their own, or you switch that off and everyone uses the same text.

What you use it for

Four situations in which partners hand out tickets

Always the same pattern: you organise, someone else invites the guests.

Exhibitors at a fair

Every exhibitor invites their own customers. The first tickets are included in the stand rental; above that the organiser charges per visitor who actually came.

Festival sponsors

The main sponsor and the partners each have a fixed number of free tickets and send them to their contacts themselves, with their own logo in the e-mail.

Teams and departments of a club

Every team or department hands out tickets to its own sponsors and volunteers. You see per team how many were issued.

Companies at a networking event

Participating companies may each bring a few guests. They enter the names themselves, and you have a complete guest list at the door.

Good to know

Three things you would rather know now

So that neither your partners nor you are surprised.

A partner ticket counts towards capacity

It is a regular ticket for your event, just not for sale. Once your event is full, partners cannot send tickets any more either.

Revoking is possible until the scan

A partner can revoke a ticket or send it again as long as it has not been scanned. A revoked ticket does not count in the settlement.

You settle with your partner yourself

MijnEvent counts what was sent and scanned and makes an overview per partner. You send the invoice to your partner yourself, based on that export.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

What does it cost?

A single flat €150 per event or fair, with unlimited partners and unlimited tickets. The partner tickets themselves are free tickets: MijnEvent charges no fee on them.

Do my partners need an account?

No. A contact person receives an invitation link, chooses a PIN and then signs in with their e-mail address and that PIN.

Does a partner see the guests of other partners?

No. A partner only sees the tickets they sent themselves. You see everything.

Can a partner send a whole list at once?

Yes. Besides the form they can upload a CSV file with a name, an e-mail address and optionally a personal line per row. If a row is wrong, the page says which one.

What happens when a guest replies to the e-mail?

The reply goes to the contact person of the partner who sent the ticket, not to you. The partner knows their guest best.
