# Creating an event with the AI assistant

 Not keen on filling in a blank form with ten fields? Tell the AI assistant in plain language what you're organising. It asks the questions it still needs, turns your answers into a complete draft event, and offers to write the description for you.

        In short

- The AI assistant collects everything an event needs in a short conversation: title, date and time, venue and ticket types with prices — plus capacity, time slots, service fees and donations where relevant.
- The assistant does not invent facts: date, price and venue come from you. The description is the only thing it offers to write itself.
- What comes out is a draft event. Nothing is published until you publish it yourself.

  Setting up a new event normally means a blank form, ten fields, and coming up with a compelling description yourself. The **AI assistant** in your dashboard makes that faster. You describe in plain language what you're organising, the assistant asks whatever it still needs, and at the end a complete draft is waiting for you.

# Describe your event in one sentence

In your dashboard, open **New event** and pick **With the AI assistant**. Type what it's about — for example *"A benefit concert at the Grote Kerk in Meppel on 12 December, with early bird and regular tickets"*. That's all the assistant needs to start.

# It fills the gaps with questions, not assumptions

From that one sentence the assistant takes what's actually in it: name, date, venue, the ticket types you mentioned. Whatever is missing, it asks about — the start time, how many people you expect, what the tickets cost. That is deliberate: **it will not invent a date, price or venue you didn't give it**, and it leaves your title exactly as you typed it.

Where the conversation calls for it, the less obvious things come up too:

- **Capacity and capacity groups** when several ticket types share the same room;
- **Time slots** for a guided tour or a drop-in activity;
- **Service fees** per ticket type, and a **donation field** if you're raising money alongside ticket sales.

The one thing the assistant genuinely writes itself is the **description** — and it offers to, rather than doing it unasked.

# Check, adjust, publish

Everything you see is a **draft**. Each field is the same field as in the manual form, so you adjust prices, capacity, VAT rate and sales period as usual. Happy with it? Then you take the event live yourself, in your own branding — exactly as with a manually created event.

## Does the AI publish my event automatically?

  No. The assistant prepares a draft; you check every field and publish it yourself. Until then the event sits in your dashboard as a draft and visitors cannot see it.

## Will the assistant make up a price or date if I don't mention one?

  No, it is explicitly instructed not to. If something is missing it asks. The description is the only thing it offers to write for you — and you can edit that afterwards like any other field.

## Can I change the suggested ticket types and prices?

  Yes. The result simply fills the normal ticket type form, so you adjust price, capacity, VAT and sales period exactly as you would otherwise.
