What does a ticket really cost?
When you first sell tickets online, the platform fees often seem manageable — until the payout comes in. Most established ticketing platforms charge a commission of 5 to 12 percent per ticket, on top of a fixed processing fee per order. On a €25 ticket, that already means €2.00 to €3.50 gone before a single attendee has walked through the door.
For larger events with a thousand attendees, that adds up to hundreds of euros in commission — just for managing a form and a QR code.
How MijnEvent keeps costs low
MijnEvent is built on Mollie Connect. This means you as an organiser connect your own Mollie account. Payments go directly into your account — MijnEvent never sits in between.
The only cost MijnEvent charges is a platform fee of €0.50 (incl. VAT) per sold ticket on the standard plan. No percentage of the ticket price. No hidden settlement fees. No setup costs.
It is a fixed amount per paid ticket, regardless of the ticket price. And free tickets are always completely free — you never pay a fee on those.
