The money comes straight to you
At many ticket platforms, the money first passes through the platform, which then pays out with some delay. At MijnEvent it works differently. We use Mollie Connect, which means your visitors' payments arrive straight in your own Mollie account — not with MijnEvent first.
That gives you more grip and clarity: your revenue is your revenue, and it sits directly in your own account.
Payout to your bank account
Because the money arrives in your own Mollie account, the payout to your bank account follows your own Mollie settings. MijnEvent is not in between.
So you decide for yourself in your Mollie dashboard:
- Which bank account you want to be paid out to.
- How often Mollie pays out.
Have a question about a specific payout? Then you check your Mollie dashboard, just as you would with a regular webshop.
The MijnEvent platform fee
MijnEvent charges a platform fee (application fee) per ticket sold. This fee is settled automatically with the payment, so you don't have to do anything for it yourself.
The size of the fee depends on your subscription:
- On an entry-level subscription you pay a fixed fee per ticket.
- On a higher subscription that fee per ticket is lower.
Which subscription suits you best depends on how many events you organise and how many tickets you sell.
Fixed subscription costs invoiced separately
Do you have a subscription with fixed costs (such as the Recurring or Custom subscription)? Then those costs are not settled through your Mollie account. Instead, MijnEvent invoices these separately.
How that works:
- You receive an invoice by email.
- That email contains a payment link with which you can easily settle the invoice.
This keeps things clear: the ticket revenue runs through your own Mollie account, and you handle the fixed subscription costs separately through MijnEvent.
