Your own place on the web
Every organisation on MijnEvent runs on its own subdomain. That's automatically linked to the name you registered with, in the form {slug}.mijnevent.nl. If your organisation is called "Coding Agency", for example, you'll find your public event page at coding-agency.mijnevent.nl.
On that subdomain you present all your events to visitors. And the great thing is: that page doesn't have to look like "just another ticketing site" — you can give it your own house style entirely.
Setting up branding in the admin panel
In the admin panel, go to Branding. Here you decide how your event page looks. Among other things, you set the following colours:
- Primary colour — your main accent colour, for example for buttons.
- Secondary colour — a complementary accent colour.
- Background colour — the base of your page.
- Text colour — the colour of your text.
- Card colour — the colour of the blocks in which your events and tickets appear.
By tuning these colours to one another, your page gets exactly the look that suits your organisation.
Fonts, logo and header
Besides colours, you also decide on the other visual elements:
- Fonts — choose the fonts that suit your brand, so headings and text are recognisable.
- Logo — your own logo at the top of the page, so visitors immediately see who they're with.
- Header image — an atmospheric image at the top of your event page that sets the tone.
Together, these elements make your MijnEvent page a natural extension of your own brand.
Consistent everywhere: page and widget
The nice thing is that your branding doesn't stay in one place. The colours and fonts you set are applied live in two places:
- Your public event page on your subdomain.
- The embeddable widget, which you can place on your own website.
That way visitors experience the same recognisable look, whether they buy via your MijnEvent page or via a widget on your own site. That builds trust and strengthens your brand.
See instantly what you're doing
You don't have to guess how your choices will turn out. While you're setting things up, a live preview instantly shows how your page looks with the chosen colours, fonts, your logo and the header image. Adjust something and you'll see the result straight away.
Feel free to play around with it until it feels just right. A few tips:
- Ensure sufficient contrast between your text and background colour, so everything stays easy to read. Accessibility is a core value at MijnEvent, and good contrast helps everyone — including visitors with a visual impairment.
- Keep your colour scheme calm and consistent with your existing house style.
- Use a logo and header in good quality, so they stay sharp.
With a few minutes of work in Branding, you give your event page a professional, recognisable look that's entirely your own.
