Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between MijnEvent and Eventbrite?
MijnEvent stands out through transparent pricing, accessibility built to WCAG AA, and direct Mollie payouts to your own account. You also get your own subdomain, built-in peer-to-peer resale, gift cards, waitlists, and VAT invoices visitors arrange themselves.
Is MijnEvent cheaper than Eventbrite?
MijnEvent offers transparent pricing with three options: Pay as you go (€0.50 per ticket, incl. VAT), Recurring (€14.95 once per event + €0.25 per ticket), and custom Enterprise pricing on request. As with other platforms, the payment provider's transaction fees (Mollie, in our case) apply on top. Refunds cost nothing extra (only the per-ticket fee already paid is not returned), and free tickets are always free.
Can I transfer my events from Eventbrite to MijnEvent?
Yes, you can create your first event on MijnEvent within 15 minutes. You can easily recreate your existing events with our intuitive interface.
