For flower parades, harvest festivals and other regional events, MijnEvent offers online ticket sales at a flat rate of €0.50 per sold ticket, without a subscription or setup costs — fitting for an organisation that runs on volunteers and sponsors. Visitors buy their tickets in advance through a dedicated subdomain such as yourparade.mijnevent.nl and pay with iDEAL, which greatly reduces box-office crowds on the day itself. Grandstand seats, standing areas and children's tickets are set up as separate ticket types, each with their own price and capacity; free tickets for volunteers and sponsors are always fee-free. At the entrances, volunteers scan QR codes with their own phones — multiple entrances at once is no problem, and it works outdoors in bright sunlight. Revenue runs through the organisation's Mollie account and lands directly in the bank account, before the event even starts.

No subscription, no setup costs: you pay €0.25 or €0.50 per sold paid ticket (incl. VAT), depending on your plan. Free tickets are always fee-free. Selling high volumes? The Organizer plan lowers the fee to €0.25.

What does ticketing cost for a parade?
A flat rate of €0.50 per sold paid ticket (incl. VAT), without a subscription or setup costs. For large parades with high volume, the Organizer plan (€14.95 per event, €0.25 per ticket) is often cheaper.
Does scanning work without good internet on the grounds?
The scanner uses the phone's own mobile connection and needs very little data per scan. For large events we recommend at least one device with a good 4G/5G connection per entrance.
Can we charge different prices for grandstand and standing areas?
Yes, every ticket type has its own price, capacity and optional service fee. That way you sell grandstand seats, standing areas and children's tickets side by side on the same page.
Our permit requires visitor counts — does MijnEvent help with that?
Yes. You set a capacity per ticket type so you never sell beyond the permitted maximum, and during the event the check-in shows live how many visitors are inside. Afterwards you export the numbers — provable towards the municipality or venue manager.
