No subscription or credit card is needed: the school pays €0.50 per sold paid ticket, and free tickets — for parents, staff or chaperones — are completely fee-free. Students and parents pay in advance with iDEAL, so no cash passes through the school and the records are automatically correct. The school gets its own sales page on a subdomain such as yourschool.mijnevent.nl, shared through the school app, the newsletter or a QR poster in the hall. At the entrance, teachers or party committee members scan tickets with their phones. The platform is privacy-conscious and GDPR-aligned: only necessary data is requested and visitor data is never resold or used for advertising.

What about student privacy (GDPR)?
MijnEvent only asks for the data needed for the ticket (name and email address), uses no tracking cookies in the ticket shop and never resells data. The school remains the data controller; a data processing agreement is available on the website.
Can we cap sales at a maximum number of tickets?
Yes, every ticket type has its own capacity. Once the maximum is reached, sales stop automatically and interested visitors can join the waiting list.
