Registration system for evening four day marches
Four evenings of walking, hundreds of participants: registration with payment in one, the right medal number per walker and no double administration.
For evening four day march committees, MijnEvent handles registrations with payment in one, at a flat rate of €0.50 per paid registration (or €0.25 on the Organiser plan at €14.95 per edition), without a subscription. Per participant you collect exactly the details you need: distance, school or group, and the number of years walked for the right medal number. Early registration with a discount and same-day registration at the start run in the same system, so no double administration arises. Medals, keepsakes and four-day-march merchandise sell through your own web shop, and mailings to participants and schools go out from the same environment — the route, start times and, after the finish parade, an automatic feedback question. Free participants such as volunteers and traffic marshals cost nothing. Revenue runs through the organisation’s own Mollie account and lands directly in the bank account.
This is what it solves
Retyping registration forms
Participants register online and pay directly — distance, school and medal number arrive in a structured way.
Tracking early and same-day registration separately
Both run in the same system, each with its own price — no double administration and no duplicate names.
Coordinating schools and groups
Per school or group you see who is walking, and mailings to all participants go out in one send.

Free tickets are genuinely free
No catch: on free tickets — for members, volunteers, children or guests — MijnEvent never charges a fee. You only pay the €0.50 (or €0.25) on paid tickets. Many platforms charge on free registrations too; with us a free ticket costs nothing, however large your guest list. This applies to public events; a private event with only free tickets behind an access code costs € 50 per event from 5 November 2026.

What does it cost for an evening four day march?
There are no fixed costs and no subscription: you pay €0.50 per paid registration (incl. VAT), or €0.25 on the Organiser plan at €14.95 once per edition. Free participants such as volunteers and traffic marshals cost nothing. More than roughly sixty paid registrations makes the Organiser plan cheaper.
How do we get the medal numbers right?
At registration you collect the number of previous participations as a required field. In the participant overview you see per distance and per medal number how many medals to order — exports are always available.
View the Attendee details module →Can early bird pricing run next to same-day registration?
Yes, you create two registration types, each with its own price and period. Early registration closes automatically when you want it to, and at the start you register walk-ups through the same system.
Can we sell medals and keepsakes?
Yes, with the merchandise module you sell medals, keepsakes and march merchandise through your own web shop — ordered online, collected at the start or the finish parade.
