Ticket sales for concerts by bands and choirs
The society plays two or three times a year to a full hall, with a loyal crowd and patrons you do not want to charge.
For wind bands, brass bands and choirs, MijnEvent handles ticket sales for your concert, gala concert, spring concert or Christmas concert at a flat rate of €0.50 per paid ticket sold, with no subscription. Your loyal visitors buy their ticket online in advance through your own subdomain and pay by iDEAL, receiving a confirmation with a QR code by email straight away. Patrons and benefactors reserve their seat with a free ticket, and that free ticket is always entirely fee-free, so you charge your regular supporters nothing. For each concert you set a capacity that matches your hall, so you never sell more tickets than there are seats. At the door volunteers scan the QR with an ordinary phone, green or red, without any access to finances or settings. If the concert fills up, a waiting list catches the latecomers. The proceeds land directly in the society's account through your own Mollie account.
This is what it solves
Patrons and benefactors do not want to buy a ticket
Your regular patrons simply belong and need not pay, but you do want to know their seat is taken. A free ticket lets them reserve in advance at no charge, while regular visitors do pay.
More tickets than seats in the hall
A village hall or church has a fixed capacity, and a packed house is lovely until you have let in two people too many. With a capacity per concert, sales close automatically once the last seat is taken.
Volunteers at the door without fuss
The people scanning tickets are members or parents, not box-office staff. With QR check-in on an ordinary phone they see only green or red, and never the proceeds, data or settings of the society.
Everything you need
- Free tickets for patrons and benefactors, always fee-free, alongside paid tickets for regular visitors.
- A capacity per concert that matches your hall, so you never sell more than there are seats.
- QR check-in for volunteers with an ordinary phone, without access to finances or settings.
- Waiting list for a sold-out concert, plus proceeds straight into the society's account.
Free tickets are genuinely free
No catch: on free tickets — for members, volunteers, children or guests — MijnEvent never charges a fee. You only pay the €0.50 (or €0.25) on paid tickets. Many platforms charge on free registrations too; with us a free ticket costs nothing, however large your guest list.

What do ticket sales for a concert cost?
Pay as you go is the default: €0.50 flat per paid ticket sold, with no subscription and no percentage of the ticket price. Free tickets for patrons cost nothing. If the society plays several concerts with many visitors, the organiser subscription (€14.95 once per concert plus €0.25 per ticket) is cheaper from around 60 tickets.
Can patrons and benefactors reserve for free?
Yes. You create a free ticket for patrons and benefactors so they can secure their seat in advance. Those free tickets are always entirely fee-free, while regular visitors simply pay.
Can my volunteers check the tickets?
Yes. You invite unlimited inspectors who scan the QR code with an ordinary phone. They see green or red and nothing else, no finances, no visitor data and no settings.
Can we sell numbered seats for the gala concert?
We do not yet offer a seat number or floor plan, and we are honest about that. You do set a capacity per concert that matches your hall, so you never sell more tickets than there are places. Free choice of a spot in the hall remains possible, a fixed seat number does not.
