MijnEvent handles your ticketing for a flat rate of €0.50 per paid ticket sold — no subscription, no percentage that climbs with the ticket price. You set up multiple ticket types with their own capacity and sales window, and you run a members-only party alongside an open one for outside guests. Members get the member rate through a discount code; outsiders pay full price. Visitors pay in advance with iDEAL, so there is no cash at the door and no till discrepancies afterwards. The proceeds land straight in the association's account through your own Mollie account. If a party sells out fast, the waitlist catches the rest. Board handover? You simply pass on management — the setup stays in place.

Free tickets are genuinely free
No catch: on free tickets — for members, volunteers, children or guests — MijnEvent never charges a fee. You only pay the €0.50 (or €0.25) on paid tickets. Many platforms charge on free registrations too; with us a free ticket costs nothing, however large your guest list.

What does ticketing cost for a student association?
By default you pay a flat €0.50 per paid ticket sold — no subscription and no percentage. Free tickets, for your board or the band for instance, are always entirely fee-free. If you run big parties often, the organiser subscription (€14.95 once per event plus €0.25 per ticket) can work out cheaper; it pays off from around 60 tickets per party.
Can members get a lower rate than outsiders?
Yes. You create a discount code for the member rate and share it in your member mailing or app. Members enter the code and pay less; outsiders simply see the full price. You can also use separate ticket types — one for members, one for guests — each with its own capacity.
Do we get our own subdomain for the association?
Yes, you get yourassociation.mijnevent.nl as your own sales page. All your parties, galas and symposia sit there together, with the association's look and name — handy for sharing in a single link via socials or the member mailing.
The board changes every year — how do we keep access?
The account belongs to the association, not to a person. At handover you pass management to the new board; all earlier events, ticket types and the Mollie connection stay in place. That way the new treasurer does not start from scratch each year.
