Membership records for ice skating clubs
Contributions without envelopes, two rates just like you are used to — and as soon as it freezes you sell entrance and send "the rink is open!" in one click.
For natural ice and skating clubs, MijnEvent handles membership records and contribution collection: members and donors pay digitally with iDEAL | Wero, reminders send themselves, and the classic two rates — a low rate for joining before winter and a higher rate for deciding on the ice — work through two membership types in the same system. As soon as it freezes you sell entrance or day tickets online at a flat rate of €0.50 per paid ticket (or €0.25 on the Organiser plan at €14.95 per event), and "the rink is open!" goes out as a mailing to members and village in one click. Free entrance for members costs nothing. Friends of the rink get their own page for donations towards, say, the rink lighting. Revenue runs through the club’s own Mollie account and lands directly in the bank account — and in a winter without ice the records simply stay in order.
This is what it solves
Envelopes along the doors for contributions
Members and donors pay digitally, with reminders that send themselves — the yearly round can be retired.
Tracking two rates by hand
Early birds and on-the-ice deciders each get their own membership type and price, processed automatically.
When it freezes, everything at once
Entrance sales are ready in minutes and "the rink is open!" reaches members and village in a single mailing.
Everything you need

Free tickets are genuinely free
No catch: on free tickets — for members, volunteers, children or guests — MijnEvent never charges a fee. You only pay the €0.50 (or €0.25) on paid tickets. Many platforms charge on free registrations too; with us a free ticket costs nothing, however large your guest list. This applies to public events; a private event with only free tickets behind an access code costs € 50 per event from 5 November 2026.

What does it cost for an ice skating club?
There are no fixed costs and no subscription: you pay €0.50 per paid ticket or paid membership (incl. VAT), or €0.25 on the Organiser plan at €14.95 once per event. Free entrance for members costs nothing — and in a winter without ice you pay nothing fixed.
How do the two rates work?
You create two membership types: an early rate that closes on a date you choose (say 1 November) and a higher rate afterwards. The system processes both into the same member list automatically.
View the Memberships & season passes module →Can we act fast when frost arrives?
Yes, entrance sales switch on in minutes and a mailing to all members and donors is ready in one click. At the rink a volunteer scans QR codes or checks against the member list.
Can we enable donations for the rink lighting?
Yes, with the fundraising module friends of the rink get their own page for one-off or yearly contributions — towards the lighting or the clubhouse, for example.
