Ticketing for carnival associations
Gala nights, revues and balls: sell tickets with seat selection on your own tables and rows, and manage members, sponsors and club merchandise in the same place.
For carnival associations, MijnEvent handles ticket sales for gala nights, revues and balls at a flat rate of €0.50 per sold paid ticket (or €0.25 on the Organiser plan at €14.95 per event), without a subscription. Visitors pick their spot on your own hall layout — tables, rows or sections — so the ticket sale evening at the café is no longer a scramble for the best seats. You track members and contributions per committee or section, with automatic reminders, while sponsors and supporters such as a council of eleven get their own page. Scarves, emblems and club clothing sell through your own web shop: ordered and paid online, collected at the gala night or club house, with no shipping hassle. Free tickets for members, guests and youth are always fee-free. Revenue runs through the association’s own Mollie account and lands directly in the bank account.

Free tickets are genuinely free
No catch: on free tickets — for members, volunteers, children or guests — MijnEvent never charges a fee. You only pay the €0.50 (or €0.25) on paid tickets. Many platforms charge on free registrations too; with us a free ticket costs nothing, however large your guest list. This applies to public events; a private event with only free tickets behind an access code costs € 50 per event from 5 November 2026.

What does ticketing cost for a carnival association?
There are no fixed costs and no subscription: you pay €0.50 per sold paid ticket (incl. VAT), or €0.25 on the Organiser plan at €14.95 once per gala night. Free tickets cost nothing. Selling more than roughly sixty tickets per night makes the Organiser plan cheaper.
Can visitors pick a table or seat for the gala night?
Yes, with the reserved seating module you draw the layout of your hall once — tables, rows and sections — and reuse it for every gala night. Visitors pick their spot on a zoomable map.
View the Reserved seating & floor plans module →Can we sell club clothing and scarves through the system?
Yes, the merchandise module gives you a small web shop for scarves, emblems and club clothing. Ordering and payment happen online, collection happens at the gala night or club house — no shipping costs and no fronting money.
View the Merchandise & web shop module →How do we handle member pricing for tickets?
You create separate ticket types for members and non-members, each with its own price and capacity. Free member tickets are completely fee-free, so the member discount costs the association nothing extra.
